Jared Kushner Comes Under The Microscope

Jared Kushner has come under the watchful ire of Congressional Democrats.

Kushner, who is already under Congressional investigation, is having his business deals scrutinized by Democrats like Jamie Raskin, who wants to subpoena Kushner and push for a DOJ investigation.

President Trump’s son-in-law reportedly engaged in numerous overseas business deals—especially with Saudi Arabia and the Saudi Royal Family.

This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. Kushner is, after all, a legitimate businessman! He is also part of a well-known international business family.

Compare this with Hunter Biden who is selling $500,000 paintings and collecting 10% for the ‘big guy’ in Ukraine.

It is obvious that Democrats are merely targeting Kushner as payback for the Hunter Biden investigation, and it remains to be seen if this investigation yields any new information or not. Here’s what we currently know:

Rep. Robert Garcia recently told the media: We have Jared Kushner, who served as the lead liaison to the Middle East, leaving the White House, and then making $2 billion from the Saudi government. Where’s that investigation?

According to The Epoch Times:

On Thursday, Mr. Raskin sent a letter (pdf) to Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.), requesting that he approve a subpoena to compel Mr. Kushner to provide records of his communications with members of the government of Saudi Arabia, as well as records of Saudi public investment in his business firm, A Fin Management LLC (also known as Affinity).

As was expected, calls for a DOJ investigation into Jared Kushner, and his overseas business deals, came almost exclusively from liberals and Democrats.

Previously, Rolling Stone reported:

In a letter requesting documents, committee chair Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.) writes to Kushner that the government wants to know “whether your personal financial interests improperly influenced U.S. foreign policy” during the Trump administration.

The letter requests that Kushner turn over any communications he had with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who controls the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund (PIF).
