Leftists Hit A New Low With New, Potential Trump Litigation…

Not a single day passes where the lunatic left doesn’t attempt to arrest or imprison President Trump under false or bogus pretenses.

The former President is now fighting 4 different legal battles against the political establishment, each consisting of multiple charges or counts.

Now we are seeing liberals and their allies in the media play with the idea of potentially new litigation against the 45th President of the United States.

According to legal scholars, President Trump may have violated copyright laws by selling merchandise featuring the now-infamous mugshot from Fulton County, Georgia.

Imagine that, where a duly elected President, who is now facing politically motivated charges, cannot use his own likeness to make money—this is the society we live in.

A society of endless procedures, rules, and fine print, where justice is an afterthought and the central motivation lies in protecting a failing and collapsing system.

Copyright law or not, this man owns the rights to his likeness and is a highly public figure.

He has entered no enforceable contract with the armed brigands who carried out his arrest and essentially forced him at gunpoint to surrender and take that photo.

No agreement can justly be enforced under such circumstances, law or no law, they don’t own that image they forcefully snapped of him any more than a thief owns what he has taken by force or through duplicity.

If anything, they violated his rights by merely existing as part of the political establishment that forcefully took that photo in the first place.

A cornerstone of American values and contract law is voluntary association—where was the voluntary association here?

They chose to enforce clearly unjust laws—just as they have many, many times in the past while parroting the age-old, tired excuse of ‘I am just doing my job’ or my personal favorite: ‘It’s the law.’

Slavery was legal, everything Hitler and the Nazi regime did in Germany was according to the letter of the law, and the Vietnam War was legal. It seems that almost no injustice sees the light of day before first becoming legal.

We may live in a world where the letter of the law claims that Fulton County owns that image, but no fair person or God would grant them such a right, for there can be no claim to ‘rights’ where a monopoly on force and coercion was used to obtain the object of such ‘rights’.

Law or no law, this desperately highlights our need for a drastically reordered society. A society in which the only objective of the law is to uphold justice—nothing more, nothing less.

No society can call itself just that has a 30,000-page tax code or laws so complex that each domain within the law spans entire libraries.

A good rule of thumb for evaluating any legal system is this: if you need a technician to ferry you through the waters of the law, you can be sure that the substance and aims of those laws are not just.

Justice requires no lengthy explanations, treatises, volumes, theories, or legal technicians—it speaks for itself, stands alone, and is readily apparent to anyone willing to bear witness.

The very fact that there are scores of people (leftists) who are encouraging potential litigation against President Trump over this issue likewise highlights the need for a drastically reordered society.

According to The New York Post:

“In the context of photographs taken by law enforcement during the booking process, the author of the mugshot photograph is the law enforcement agency,” the 2022 University of Georgia School of Law’s Journal of Intellectual Property Law states.

As such, Betsy Rosenblatt, a professor at Case Western Reserve University’s School of Law, says there are limitations to what people may do with such photographs.
