London Activists Disable 90% of Government ULEZ Taxing Cameras

Our neighbors across the pond have been fighting against their tyrannical government.

London’s mayor, Sadiq Khan, implemented Ultra Low Emission Zones (ULEZ) throughout the city.

These ULEZ cameras tax drivers whose cars do not fit into the ultra-low emission criteria.

It is just another way for the government to tax its citizens and punish them for not complying with climate activists and the globalist agenda.

Thankfully for the people of London, a group named Blade Runners has been cutting down and disabling 90% of the cameras just a day after their implementation.

Daily Mail has more on the story:

Nearly nine out of 10 Ulez cameras have been vandalised in southeast London, according to an analysis of crowd-sourced data.

The data shows that only 29 cameras out of 185 in Sydenham are working, only four are intact in Bromley and just one is working on the A225.

Meanwhile images have been released of ‘blade runners’ stealing and vandalising the cameras.

From next week, the controversial scheme will cover all London boroughs and will force drivers of non-compliant vehicles to shell out £12.50 a day.

The pricey plans have been met with much resistance and armour plating is now being used to protect the cameras.

TfL is yet to share the location of the missing cameras, but Londoners have set up a Facebook group called ‘Ulez Camera Locations’, with the aim to ‘crowd-source’ the information themselves.

Around 500 cameras appear to be marked as out of action, missing or damaged, according to a map the group have generated.

The data shows a high concentration of missing cameras in the southeast of the capital.

This includes 156 out of 185 cameras in the area south of Sydenham and Sidcup and 18 out of 22 in Bromley.

Only one camera is shown to be working on the A225.

Meanwhile only 20 have been hit in central London.

TfL has said the vandalism will not stop the Ulez changes going ahead next week as planned and that all vandalised cameras will be replaced or repaired.

A spokesperson added that more than 1,900 cameras are in place in outer London.

Activists have also put stickers over the cameras so that drivers aren’t caught out by the new rules.

These activists are to be commended for standing up to Saqid’s tyranny.

Let it be an example to the elites that the people will not comply with their surveillance without fighting back.

Metro explains more on how the ULEZ cameras work:

How do ULEZ cameras work?

ULEZ cameras record your number plate, which is then checked against a database to see if your vehicle needs to be charged for entering the ULEZ zone.

If you haven’t prepaid for your journey, you will be alerted about the charge a few days after and you will be asked to pay it within 21 days.

There are multiple ways to pay for a ULEZ – in London this can be done online through the official TfL portal, by setting up a TfL autopay account, or by phone on:

You can pay the charge by midnight on the third day following the journey or up to 90 days in advance, according to TfL.

The daily cost is £12.50 for cars, motorcycles, vans and specialist vehicles (up to and including 3.5 tonnes) and minibuses.

Those that fail to pay will receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).

The cameras are on constantly, operating 24 hours a day and seven days a week – except Christmas Day – so there is no avoiding them if you enter the ULEZ zone.

Check out what this Londoner has to say about the whole thing:

Some of you reading might not care too much since this is happening in London.

But I want to remind you that American politicians are certainly watching how this unfolds.

Just wait until Democrat-ruled cities are implementing this.

Restricting what kind of cars are driven and issuing ludicrous taxes on gas-powered cars.

If politicians try this here, we need to learn from what Londoners are doing to combat their government.
