TikTok Recruited to Spy for the Biden Department of Justice

Social media has proven to be a drain on society.

Young and old spend countless hours glued to their screen.

Mini dopamine hits from likes. Anger spikes from articles fed to you through algorithms.

It is a cesspool of the worst of humanity.

Worst of all, the government uses it to spy on us.

So why did they go after TikTok so hard in recent government hearings?

It didn’t make much sense until you realize one important detail.

The US government wasn’t the one receiving the data.

Now, it is being reported that the Department of Justice was trying to get the data for themselves.

Several government entities have banned the use of TikTok on devices to prevent spying.

Even liberal safe havens like New York City.

In the mean time, the DOJ negotiated with TikTok to get their hands on users data.

The government offered an end to banning talks if TikTok gave control of the information TikTok stole from users.

TikTok released this statement to Gizmodo.

“As has been widely reported, we’ve been working with CFIUS for well over a year to implement a national security agreement and have invested significant resources in implementing a firewall to isolate US user data,” a TikTok spokesperson said. “Today, all new protected US user data is stored in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in the US with tightly controlled and monitored gateways. We are doing more than any peer company to safeguard US national security interests.”

CFIUS is the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States.

They supposedly have yet to reach an agreement.

The US government wants to use the same tactics that they criticized the Chinese government of doing.

So, do our elected officials know about the negotiations?

Are they putting on a show for the American people?

Is it just a deep state grab that left our congressman out of the loop?

Honestly, the truth has to be somewhere in between.

The government has an interest in controlling the narrative.

It isn’t limited to one party.
