President Trump Confirms He Is Being Arrested Thursday – $200,000 Bond

President Trump has taken to Truth Social to break the bombshell.

On Thursday, President Trump will head to Atlanta, where he will be arrested.

The case against President Trump is brought by District Attorney Fani Willis.

The bogus charges are against President Trump’s phone call during the 2020 presidential election.

NBC News has more on President Trump’s arrest:

Willis last week hit the former president and 18 others with racketeering charges for allegedly scheming to overturn the results of the 2020 election in the case, and gave the defendants until Aug. 25th to surrender voluntarily at the Rice Street Jail.

Three senior law enforcement officials told NBC News on Friday that they expected Trump’s surrender to happen late this week.

In a news release Monday, the Fulton County sheriff’s office said that when he does turn himself in “there will be a hard lockdown of the area surrounding the Rice Street Jail.”

Trump earlier Monday agreed to a $200,000 bond in the case. Under the terms of the “consent bond order” filed in court Monday afternoon, Trump agreed to the bond amount on charges that include racketeering, criminal conspiracy, criminal solicitation, filing false documents and making false statements.

The order was signed off on by Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee. The order, which was signed by Willis and Trump’s attorneys, says that Trump “shall perform no act to intimidate any person known to him or her to be a codefendant or witness in this case or to otherwise obstruct the administration of justice.”

It also says the “Defendant shall make no direct or indirect threat of any nature against the community or to any property in the community; The above shall include, but are not limited to, posts on social media or reposts of posts made by another individual on social media.”

The document was filed with the court after members of Trump’s legal team — Drew Findling, Marissa Goldberg and Jennifer Little — were spotted entering the Fulton County Courthouse around 2:10 p.m. ET, walking in the direction of the DA’s office. They declined to comment to reporters on their way in.

Democrats continue to tarnish the legal system with their false charges.

Heading into the proceedings, it was unclear whether Trump would be held to the same standards as other defendants by getting fingerprinted and photographed for a mug shot.

In the end, Trump was required to provide fingerprints but was not subjected to a mug shot or handcuffs. A person familiar with the matter said the decision was ultimately made by Bragg’s office.

That didn’t stop the Trump campaign from creating its own Trump mug shot to raise money, however.

Within minutes of the former president being processed his 2024 campaign team put out its own “mugshot” with a picture of Trump over a “not guilty” banner in a fundraising email.

Trump has used his indictment to rally Republicans, with even some of his potential Republican opponents accusing law enforcement of being weaponized against Trump.

Campaign officials said Trump had $10 million in donations since the indictment last week.

The judge also did not order a gag order, meaning the former president can speak freely about the case without concern about repercussions in court.

Democrats are pushing heavily for President Trump to have his mug shot taken.

This is just more proof that this is all to tarnish his name.

Democrats would LOVE to have President Trump’s mugshot to parade around.
