Hospital Reimplements Mask Mandates

Around the same time mainstream media restarted COVID-19 fearmongering and Alex Jones said two federal whistleblowers warned him about lockdowns returning, a hospital in New York reimplemented mask mandates.

Federal Agents Allegedly Say Masks and COVID Lockdowns Will Return

According to a staff memo at Upstate Medical’s two hospitals, University and Community General, mandatory face-masking returned Thursday morning due to rising COVID-19 cases.

Syracuse.com obtained the memo:

Covid testing is now also required for all patients being admitted to the hospitals, according to a memo sent to Upstate staff and provided to Syracuse.com.

“Effective immediately, mandatory masking is required by all staff, visitors, and patients in clinical areas of Upstate University Hospital, Upstate Community Hospital, and ambulatory clinical spaces,” the memo reads. “Clinical areas are defined as any location patients gather, wait, transport through, or receive care. Masking is strongly recommended in all non-clinical areas.”

The hospital reported an increase in staff out sick with Covid, an increase in patients hospitalized with Covid and more Covid found in wastewater from the hospitals and the community at large.

A new variant, EG.5, is responsible for the rise in cases, the hospital said.

The hospital will review the masking and testing policies again in three weeks.

"Crouse Hospital indicated no plans were underway to update testing or masking policies. Meanwhile, St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center said it is reviewing policies," Becker's Hospital Review states.

From Becker's Hospital Review:

The move comes as COVID-19 admissions tick up nationwide. In New York, new COVID-19 admissions were up 3 percent for the week ending Aug. 5, with a total of 650 new admissions, according to CDC data.

Since the COVID-19 public health emergency's end in May, hospitals and other healthcare facilities' masking guidelines are no longer tied to the CDC's community transmission metric. Policies are largely left to individual hospitals, with the CDC recommending a "risk-based approach" that considers factors such as local transmission, and in units or areas of a facility experiencing an outbreak.

The mainstream media will try their hardest to stricken the public with irrational fear over a rebranded flu.

Hopefully, most Americans won't submit to an impending fear campaign.
