WATCH: Woke Snow White Actress Cries After Backlash

Rachel Zeigler, the actress who is portraying Snow White in a new live-action adaptation, has recently come under fire.

The actress has made numerous comments talking about her disdain for the original cartoon.

Talking about how Prince Charming is a “creepy stalker.”

And how Snow White doesn’t need a man to save her.

Interesting comments coming from someone who is acting as Snow White.

The clips that have been shared to social media show tightly edited segments of Zegler’s interviews, which don’t always include all of her thoughts about the film.

In an interview with Variety in September at the Disney Fan Club’s D23 Expo, where fans got a first glimpse of the new “Snow White,” Zegler said she cried and was overwhelmed when she saw herself on the screen as Snow White. She then praised crew members who helped make the film possible.

But on social media, people zeroed in on her response to being asked about bringing a “modern edge” to the story of “Snow White.”

“I just mean that it’s no longer 1937,” Zegler said. “We absolutely wrote a ‘Snow White’ that … she’s not going to be saved by the prince, and she’s not going to be dreaming about true love; she’s going to be dreaming about becoming the leader she knows she can be and that her late father told her that she could be if she was fearless, fair, brave and true.”

Another interview at the D23 Expo was also scrutinized on social media. In the sound bite, Zegler told Extra TV that there’s a big focus on Snow White’s love story in the original film “with a guy who literally stalks her.” She called that part of the story “weird” and said they “didn’t do that this time.”

“We have a different approach to what I’m sure a lot of people will assume is a love story just because we cast a guy in the movie,” she said. “It’s really not about the love story at all, which is really, really wonderful.”

She joked that all the scenes featuring Prince Charming “could get cut,” adding: “Who knows? It’s Hollywood, baby.”

In a third interview, which Entertainment Weekly published in September, Zegler said she was frightened by the original 1937 film and didn’t revisit it until she was cast as Snow White.

“I think I watched it once and never picked it up again. I’m being so serious,” she said.

Leftists love to destroy the media that we grew up watching.

It’s part of their woke agenda to destroy everything our culture is built on.

Then when people call them out for their idiocracy, they cry.

This old video of her has recently resurfaced, creating greater concern over the 2024 movie:

The folks at Fox News have more:

Comedian Jeff Dye wondered what was “offensive” about a man and woman falling in love.

“What a smug take on what was just a nice and simple cartoon,” he wrote in response to the actress’s comments.

Radio host Dana Loesch joked, “[T]hey probably couldn’t have a Prince Charming in this one because Snow White is so annoying that he’d just let her continue napping.”

Others predicted the film’s new take on the classic film would backfire for the company.

“New flop incoming. People are pretty over 22 year old actresses telling them how they had to remake a beloved classic to bring it in line with 22 year old ideas about life,” another account responded.

“Disney’s own actors are tearing down Disney’s legacy,” Senior editor for RedState, Brandon Morse, wrote.

“It’s a total mystery why Disney is doing so poorly,” another reacted.

A different interview of the Disney star appearing to knock the original film as outdated gained renewed attention last month.

“She’s not going to be saved by the prince and she’s not going to be dreaming about true love,” Zegler told Variety at the 2022 D23 Expo.”She’s dreaming about becoming the leader she knows she can be and the leader that her late father told her that she could be if she was fearless, fair, brave and true.”

Zegler appeared to respond to the backlash her old comments are receiving by calling for more kindness.

“I hope the world becomes kinder,” Zegler said. In follow-up posts, she told followers she was “exhausted” by the negative attention.

Disney and other media companies continue to pander to leftist ideologies.

And look where it is leaving them.

People are moving on from Disney, tired of the woke propaganda being shoved down their throats.

Where are the days where entertainment was… entertaining.
