Liberal College Town Experiences Increase in Violent Crime

UC Berkeley has just reported yet another carjacking this year.

This is the 16th car so far.

Why does it seem that extremely liberal colleges are the most dangerous?

Could it be… their extreme ideology founded on idiocracy?

The same leftist ideology has resulted in increased crimes in predominately liberal cities.

Surely not, right, guys?

You would think that leftists would start looking at the statistics and realize the fallacy of their own ideology.

The Berekely Scanner covers more on the specifics of the incident:

Three men with a gun carjacked a UC Berkeley student outside a fraternity house near campus Monday night, authorities report.

The carjacking happened at about 10:50 p.m. Monday in the 2700 block of Channing Way, between College and Piedmont avenues, Berkeley police said.

The armed men took a black 2021 Toyota Corolla during the carjacking.

No further information about the incident was immediately available.

The carjacking comes days before the fall semester is set to begin and as thousands of students are returning to campus.

All these leftists cried for the police to be defunded.

For strict gun control.

And now look where it has landed them.

Their once peaceful towns and colleges are reduced to crime-ridden slums.

There have been 200 robberies so far this year, an increase of 5% compared to the same time period in 2022, according to police data.

The uptick in crime has put the community on edge and has parents questioning whether to send their children to the prestigious university.

“Is UC Berkeley really as dangerous as my mom says it is?” one potential student wrote in a Reddit thread.

“She is yelling at me every day convinced that if I end up going to Berkeley I will die the day I get there,” the post reads.

“Berkeley is not super safe, and your mom’s concern is valid, but she is definitely overstating it,” a current student responded.

We can only look on as these once-beautiful institutions fall into ruin.

Destroyed by their own ideologies.
