Must Watch: Trump Hands Out Pork Chops At Iowa State Fair!

President Trump was the main attraction at the Iowa State Fair Grounds on Saturday.

As Trump arrived at the fairgrounds a massive crowd greeted him and continued to follow him throughout the day.

While at the fairground Trump spent time mingling with supporters, throwing out hats and even handing out pork chops.

RSBN reporter Brian Glenn was one of the lucky recipients of a pork chop.

The crowd that had craned to watch Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) flip pork chops with Iowa’s governor suddenly looked toward the sky: Donald Trump’s plane was arriving. They clapped and cheered. “We love Trump!” some of them had chanted earlier.

When Trump got to the pork tent midday — with DeSantis’s camp far away and resting in the shade — he didn’t partake in the actual grilling and brought an entourage of supportive lawmakers from DeSantis’s home state. They posed for selfies and passed out Make America Great Again hats to a crowd that clogged the fair’s grand concourse.

And rather than linger all day to court voters, Trump was gone before 2 p.m. The high-drama day at the fair perfectly captured the way that the former president has flouted many traditions of campaigning while still dominating the GOP presidential race, relentlessly commanding attention and also seizing any opportunity to needle his top rival, DeSantis.

The Daily Mail added these details about Trump’s visit to Iowa:

Meanwhile, the former president arrived in the grandeur that only Trump can bring. Trump Force One flew low over the fairgrounds for the crowd to see. Secret Service wanded a long line of people waiting to get into Steers & Steins to see the former president. Mobs followed him throughout the fairgrounds, shouting his name.

At his speech to supporters, Trump mocked the other contenders at the fair that day – in addition to DeSantis, Nikki Haley and Vivek Ramaswamy were campaigning in Iowa.

‘The other candidates came here and had like six people,’ he said.

And while he mentioned the competition, his short speech – he spoke less than 15 minutes – was missing some of the signature lines from his last presidential campaign. He did not mention Hunter Biden, who is now under a special counsel investigation, and he did not mention his own criminal arraignments, which he claims is a witch hunt against him.
