Residents in Navarre, Florida were quite surprised when they spotted a green fireball zoom past their city on Thursday night.
One resident was even able to capture the green fireball on video.
Navarre resident Pamela Petrone was able to film the green fireball streak across the night sky.
In recent days the American Meteor Society has been noticing more meteors and receiving more tips about other green fireballs sightings.

The fireball is believed to be 100% natural.

On the west coast residents in California spotted a red blasts in the sky but it was confirmed to be a Space X rocket ripping a hole through the earth’s ionosphere.

The launch of a SpaceX rocket has punched a hole in the planet’s ionosphere, leaving a red aurora-like glow in the night sky above California.
ADVERTISEMENTThe Falcon 9 rocket lifted off on Monday from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California in order to deliver 15 Starlink satellites.
The rocket’s exhaust fumes reacted with the Earth’s ionosphere, temporarily creating a hole in the layer of ionized gases—a few weeks after another Falcon 9 launch did the same thing.
