California-based burger chain In-N-Out Burger sent a memo banning employees from wearing face masks.
You read that correctly.
The regional fast-food staple will not allow employees to wear face masks unless they obtain a medical exemption from the requirement.
The leaked internal memo was sent to locations in five of the seven states which it operates restaurants, including Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Nevada, and Utah.
Workers in California and Oregon locations can still wear a mask if they choose.
But the company would prefer to see the smiles of its employees.
“We are introducing new mask guidelines that emphasize the importance of customer service and the ability to show our Associates’ smiles and other facial features while considering the health and well-being of all individuals,” the memo read.
“No masks will be worn in the Store or Support facility unless an Associate has a valid medical note exempting him or her from this requirement. Associates who wear masks for medical reasons must wear a company-provided N-95 mask,” the memo continued.
“This policy applies to all Store and Support Associates working in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Texas, and Utah except Associates who are required to wear masks or other protective gear as part of their job duties (e.g., patty room Associates, lab technicians, painters, etc.),” the memo continued.
The updated guidelines go into effect August 14, 2023.

‘Medical experts’ and leftists had a meltdown over In-N-Out Burger’s face-friendly policy.
Los Angeles Times reports:
Dr. Judy Stone, an infectious disease expert and writer, denounced In-N-Out’s new policy on Twitter, saying that it violates COVID-19 recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and “endangers” employees.
Still, others online voiced their approval of the announcement, agreeing that it would improve customer service and that the move was appropriate, claiming the pandemic is over.
The burger chain @innoutburger confirmed their anti-mask policy for employees in a phone call a bit ago. This violates #CDC #Covid recs and endangers #employees.

This isn’t the first time In-N-Out Burger pushed back against insane COVID-19 plandemic policies enforced by most establishments.
The fast-food chain fought California’s tyrannical COVID-19 jab mandates.
The National Pulse noted:
In-N-Out also fought back against California’s vaccine policing, insisting in 2021: “We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government. It is unreasonable, invasive, and unsafe to force our restaurant associates to segregate customers into those who may be served and those who may not, whether based on the documentation they carry, or any other reason.”
