FBI whistleblower Steven Friend has come forward to expose FBI Director Christoper Wray’s recent Congressional testimony.
Friend, who previously offered testimony on the federal agency’s corruption in May, is now back to point out the inconsistencies of the FBI Director’s claims.
Friend alleges that Wray lied to Congress when he told lawmakers, under oath, that field agents never actually conducted surveillance of school boards. …
He then goes on to explain that agents were taken off of more pressing concerns such as child pornography task forces and assigned to these ‘domestic terror’ task forces.
Steve Friend announced in a Thursday tweet, “The FBI Director told [the] Judiciary GOP
that special agents did not conduct surveillance of school boards. He lied. The Joint Terrorism Task Force in my office did it. I testified about the details in May.”

Friend went on, “The FBI Director told Rep. Troy Nehls that no agents were reassigned from child exploitation investigations to domestic terrorism. Another lie. I was reassigned from child pornography cases and told those cases were going to be considered a “local matter.”

Just The News recently sat down with Friend, who explained:
Steve Friend, Senior Fellow at the Center for Renewing America, says FBI Director Chris Wray needs to “expand his knowledge” on what his agents are doing under his leadership.
The whistleblower pushed back against Wray’s assertion that the FBI has widespread public approval using this analogy: “Chris Wray dismissed public disapproval of his FBI by citing high numbers of job applicants. The American people are his customers. Does a restaurant owner disregard reports of food poisoning because lots of people are applying to be waiters?”

Friend concluded with this challenge to the FBI official narrative: “You might want to retract and ask the FBI Jacksonville Daytona Beach Resident Agency Joint Terrorism Task Force.”

CNN had more on Wray’s Congressional hearing and highlighted this interaction between Rep. Matt Gaetz and Wray
“Are you protecting the Bidens?” asked Rep. Matt Gaetz, a Florida Republican, after pressing Wray over allegations from an IRS whistleblower related to the Hunter Biden investigation.
“Absolutely not,” Wray responded. “The FBI does not, has no interest in protecting anyone politically.”
Gaetz and Wray got into a heated exchange after the Florida Republican alleged that the bureau has “the lowest level of trust in the FBI’s history.”
“People trusted the FBI more when J. Edgar Hoover was running the place than when you are, and the reason is because you don’t give straight answers,” Gaetz said.
