Joe Biden recently gave Ukraine some bad news—potentially the worst news they could have received at this point.
According to public statements made by Biden to the media, Ukraine is not yet ‘ready’ to join NATO. Biden explained that the Eastern European nation cannot join until the war with Russia is over.
I’ll be the first to tell you that the entire war in Ukraine is fraudulent and the U.S. government should not be engaging in this proxy conflict at all.
However, Biden is the one who pushed for this war between Russia and Ukraine in the first place. …
How could he push for this and then tell them that the war needs to end before their entrance into NATO? Zelensky tweeted on Tuesday:
“We value our allies. We value our shared security. And we always appreciate an open conversation.
Ukraine will be represented at the NATO summit in Vilnius. Because it is about respect.
But Ukraine also deserves respect. Now, on the way to Vilnius, we received signals that certain wording is being discussed without Ukraine.
And I would like to emphasize that this wording is about the invitation to become NATO member, not about Ukraine’s membership.
It’s unprecedented and absurd when time frame is not set neither for the invitation nor for Ukraine’s membership. While at the same time vague wording about “conditions” is added even for inviting Ukraine.
It seems there is no readiness neither to invite Ukraine to NATO nor to make it a member of the Alliance.
This means that a window of opportunity is being left to bargain Ukraine’s membership in NATO in negotiations with Russia. And for Russia, this means motivation to continue its terror.
Uncertainty is weakness. And I will openly discuss this at the summit.”

Here’s what everyone is saying about Ukraine’s denial of entry into the North Atlantic Treaty Organization:

Fox News reports:
President Biden made it clear in a CNN interview that aired Sunday that he does not support Ukraine joining the alliance during its present war with Russia.
Biden also noted certain issues with Ukraine’s eligibility, such as a lack of democratization. While he said there should be “a rational path for Ukraine to be able to qualify to be able to get into NATO,” he did not go into specifics.
World leaders, including Biden and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, however, have suggested Ukraine’s joining NATO would prompt further aggression by Russia rather than serve as a deterrence.
UATV summed up Zelensky’s position before Biden delivered his remarks earlier this week:
“President Zelensky says President Biden holds the key to Ukraine’s NATO membership. While Kyiv acknowledges the need to end the war first, an invitation would boost Ukraine’s soldiers’ morale and strengthen their resolve”

The New York Post added:
NATO countries including the US have heavily financed and armed Ukraine’s resistance to the more than 16-month-old Russian invasion and Biden has gradually met many of Zelensky’s prior demands, such as agreeing last week to send cluster bombs to aid Kyiv’s flagging offensive, despite a human rights campaign to ban the weapons, which can maim or kill civilians for decades after conflicts end.
