Is AMC Sabotaging People From Watching Sound of Freedom?

A video on Twitter of a woman saying an AMC theater prevented her from watching Sound of Freedom due to A/C problems, has gone viral.

The woman in the video stated she pre-ordered her tickets to see Sound of Freedom but her tickets were later refunded without her being notified.

Staff at the AMC theater told the woman her tickets to Sound of Freedom were refunded due to A/C problems.

The woman in the video noted that  the A/C was working quite fine in the lobby.

She concluded her video by saying “I smell something stinky.”

Power went out just as movie was about to start. Even recliners don’t work.

Human Events Senior Editor Jack Posobiec reached out to Sound of Freedom to see what’s going on with AMC.

After receiving a response from the Sound of Freedom team, Posobiec tweeted  “I am told Sound of Freedom is in discussion with theaters having A/C issues this hot weekend and they are working together to make sure everyone gets to see this movie.”

Posobiec continued “Theaters are standing tall and continuing to show the film, despite the massive media attack machine!”

A woman and her friends were left baffled after a series of mishaps related to a screening of the new film Sound of Freedom starring Jim Caviezel occurred at an AMC in Pineville, North Carolina.

TikTok user @belighve1112 uploaded a post that’s accrued over 6 million likes on the platform. In it, she and several commenters speculated that there might be a concentrated effort to try and stop folks from seeing the film.

She explains in a selfie-style video, with an on-screen caption reading, “AMC pulling some sketchy crap with #thesoundoffreedom,” that their pre-paid tickets were refunded to them without explanation on the same day of the screening.

After dinner that evening, they stopped by the theater to inquire about the matter only to learn from AMC staff that they had been refunded because there was no air conditioning in that particular theater where the film was playing.
