The House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations has released their their annual State, Foreign Operations and Related Programs Appropriations Bill.
In the new bill, it was noted some big organizations such as the World Health Organizational and other organization within the United Nations control will be defunded if the Houses’ new bill passes.
The new bill “prohibits funds for other controversial organizations and programs, such as UNFPA, the World Health Organization, and the Gender Equity and Equality Action Fund.”
Republicans have aimed to defund the WHO after they were one of the largest organization calling for lockdowns and mandatory vaccines during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Even if we do not pay our dues to the WHO + cut off the funding, we will remain a contracting party… & bound by it… we have to terminate our participation in the WHO Constitution/treaty.” — Francis Boyle, J.D., Ph.D., bioweapons expert #TheDefenderhttps://t.co/PgdhuhYhm8

Here’s what PJ Media reported:
Per the document released by the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations, the proposed national budget for fiscal year 2024 explicitly “prohibits funds for other controversial organizations and programs, such as UNFPA, the World Health Organization, and the Gender Equity and Equality Action Fund.”
ADVERTISEMENTThe specific impetus for this proposal appears to be the WHO’s recent declaration of censorship war on “misinformation” due to what it has termed an “infodemic.” “The infodemic can directly impact health, hamper the implementation of public health countermeasures and undermine trust and social cohesiveness. Infodemic cannot be eliminated it can only be managed. This is why WHO and partners have developed the approach of infodemic management which encompasses Risk Communication and Community Engagement adding additional tools and approaches to manage it more efficiently in the 21st century,” per the organization.
“I had written a letter to House Speaker Kevin McCarthy to move forward with cutting the WHO’s funding in appropriations and in his role as speaker. I’m glad to see it did come out of the appropriations committee, but we’ve got to follow it through to make sure it passes,” Rep. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) told public health advocacy group Children’s Health Defense regarding the proposals.
In the last year of his presidency, Trump successfully cut the WHO off — only to have his decision reversed once the Brandon entity assumed power.
I like it…but let’s start with the DOJ, FBI & CIA. https://t.co/IuuiaXHyD1

Per The Defender:
The U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations has proposed cutting government funding for the World Health Organization (WHO) entirely, as part of its budget proposal for fiscal year 2024.
This proposal was included in the committee’s Fiscal Year 2024 State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Bill, released June 22. According to the committee’s press release, the proposals are geared toward “cutting spending for low-priority activities and programs.”
The bill also includes prohibitions on funding to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the EcoHealth Alliance and gain-of-function research; termination of U.S. government involvement with the World Economic Forum (WEF); and a ban on government “misinformation” and “disinformation” programs.
It’s uncertain if any of the proposed cuts will be adopted, as the bill faces a long path through Congress.
In case you forgot, Trump previously removed the United States from the WHO.
