Public Prayer Now BANNED In Ireland!

The war against Christianity continues to wage on.

As bad as things are here in America, we can look across the sea to other countries and see just how much worse it has become.

Take Ireland for instance…

The country has come under siege by anti-Christian zealots.

Specifically, anti-Catholicism has become prevalent.

The Irish government is now introducing “anti-prayer zones,” which include places like hospitals!

People can now be jailed for simply praying against abortion.

Is this a glimpse into the future of what may one day occur in the United States?

The Catholic Arena originally reported on this one year ago, following the overturning of Roe v Wade in the United States:

In a complete panic after the overturn of Roe vs. Wade in the United States, Ireland’s incompetent government is now moving to establish anti prayer zones across the country, where a person can be jailed for praying against abortion or for encouraging people to give birth to their baby instead of killing it.

The establishment has waged a long and lackluster war on prolife prayer in an effort to justify such zones, yet now they are proceeding regardless of any real evidence and are doing so in defiance of the public advice of Garda Commissioner Drew Harris, who has repeatedly rejected the need for such legislation, stating that it was not necessary.

Some of the efforts by the establishment, and we include Sinn Fein, the Social Democrats and Labour in that list, have been ones of pure desperation.

In 2020, Simon Harris claimed that women attending hospital for miscarriages were being asked ‘Are you going to murder your child?’, however the claim was quietly dropped when it emerged that it was linked to an anonymous Antifa Twitter account from someone claiming to have been working in the Department of Justice. In the resulting controversy, proaborts threatened to murder the prolife advocates across social media.

Things have escalated since then:..

Gab News responded to the new “Hate Speech” laws and “Anti-Prayer Zones” in Ireland:

The new law will introduce specific measures to combat hate crimes, defining them as intentional or reckless communication and behavior likely to incite violence or hatred. Penalties for hate crimes could reach up to five years of imprisonment. Victims targeted due to prejudice based on age, ability, ethnicity, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, or gender will benefit from enhanced protection. Straight White Christians need not apply.

The legislation will facilitate the prosecution of hate crimes by allowing prosecutors to rely on the use of hostile slurs, gestures, or symbols as evidence. However, critics express concerns that these changes may lead to the censorship of politically incorrect views, including those pertaining to “trans rights.”

The Prohibition of Incitement to Hatred Act, enacted in 1989, criminalizes the communication of threatening, abusive, or insulting material likely to incite hatred against a group of people. However, individuals can currently defend themselves against charges by claiming they did not intend to promote hatred, based on their lack of knowledge or reason to suspect the content’s nature. The new law changes this defense, making individuals liable for hate crimes even if they claim lack of intent.

Unfortunately things get even worse for Christians in Ireland. Other legislation seeks to establish designated zones across Ireland where prayer is prohibited, as depicted in the accompanying map. The proposed legislation, often referred to as the “anti-prayer zone” law, seeks to create designated areas where public prayer would be prohibited.
