Pentagon Issues Update On Chinese Spy Balloon…

You have got to be kidding me with this. …

Ladies and gentlemen, the CCP spy balloon that was shot off the East Coast of the United States was not spying according to Pentagon authorities.

This directly contradicts what was officially stated before—namely that the balloon was transmitting sensitive information in real-time.

Common sense Americans found the latest announcement to be clownish and lacking credibility:

The Epoch Times reports:

Although the balloon had “intelligence collection capabilities,” Ryder said the Pentagon determined that “it did not collect while it was transiting the United States or overflying the United States.”

Defense officials have previously said they took measures to limit the balloon’s capacity to gather sensitive information, and “certainly the efforts that we made contributed,” said Ryder.

Despite reports to the contrary, the issue of surveillance balloons continues to plague U.S. military command with numerous reported incursions into U.S. airspace.

On Tuesday, Lou Dobbs tweeted, “The Biden Regime needs to shoot it down and strongly warn China not to violate U.S. airspace—Biden is obviously scared to death of Xi Jinping. NORAD scrambles to calm fears another Chinese spy balloon is flying over US.”

According to BBC News:

The sensors from the suspected Chinese spy balloon were later retrieved from the ocean.

There was concern that Beijing was using the balloon to gather information as it passed over US military bases.

Chinese officials say it was a civilian weather balloon and that the US overreacted by shooting it down.
