Another spot of good news for President Trump!
According to multiple sources, the Supreme Court has tossed a case brought forward by several Democrat lawmakers to gain access to the D.C. Trump Hotel’s records.
The hotel, once owned by the 45th President of the United States has been on the radar of Congressional Democrats for years now.
This marks yet another small legal victory for President Trump, as cases against him, his corporate entities, and organizations in New York have also been put on the back burner or dropped altogether. …
Now let’s hope that the sham federal investigation against President Trump will also be thrown out soon!
Multiple outlets and influencers reported:
The Supreme Court dropped a case concerning a lower court opinion that allowed for a handful of members of Congress to sue a government agency for records related to the Washington, DC, hotel once owned by former President Donald Trump. https://t.co/BAlgdWU5JQ

Meanwhile, behind the scenes, two of the lawsuits against Trump have quietly been dropped: Bragg's case in NY and the Trump DC hotel case (Supreme Court). Both were dropped, basically, because they have no standing/nothing to stand on. Same old same old.

CNN reports:
The court’s move is likely because the lawmakers were no longer pursuing the case.
It means the justices will save for another day the issue of whether it is ever appropriate for a minority of members of congressional committee to be able to demand executive branch documents.
The US Supreme Court is seen in Washington, DC, on June 16, 2023. The court is expected to issue rulings on some of the cases that were argued this term.
“But the case was set to weigh how the minority party in Congress can scrutinize a presidential administration using a federal law known as the ‘Seven Member Rule.’”🤔

The Supreme Court will no longer hear a case on whether Democratic lawmakers should have been able to sue to obtain documents related to former President Trump’s then-owned Washington, D.C., hotel after congressional members dismissed the lawsuit. https://t.co/d3r9Gkxclm

The Hill continued:
The Justice Department had asked the justices to declare that the Democrats could not sue in court to enforce the rule, which allows any seven members of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability or any five members of the Senate Homeland Security Committee to ask for information within their purview from executive agencies.
But after Democrats dismissed the case, the Justice Department said the Supreme Court should step away from hearing its appeal.
