Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said introducing articles of impeachment against Joe Biden without due process would be “dead on arrival” in the Senate.
Graham said any effort to impeach Biden should go through the “proper processes,” Washington Examiner reports.
“I think nobody should be impeached without a hearing,” Graham said Friday on “The Hill” on NewsNation.
“We had a process and what’s being done in the House to go straight to the floor [with] articles of impeachment, we criticized Democrats for not giving Trump any due process,” he continued.
“I think this is dead on arrival,” Graham said.
“It is not responsible to impeach any president without some process in place,” he added.

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) introduced a measure on Tuesday evening to impeach Biden over his handling of the border. The legislation was guaranteed a vote on the House floor because it was put forward as a privileged resolution, but the move lacked support from key House Republicans, including Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).
McCarthy claimed Boebert’s actions could harm the serious work the House is doing, including the House’s investigation of some of the allegations surrounding the president and his son Hunter Biden.
Boebert joined Steve Bannon on War Room Wednesday and said Republican leadership is not supporting her resolution to impeach Joe Biden.

In a de-escalation of internal GOP tensions, House Republicans are now aiming to refer a Biden impeachment resolution to two committees instead of holding an immediate vote on impeaching the president.
The House will vote Thursday to send a resolution offered by Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., to the Homeland Security and Judiciary committees. By forgoing the impeachment vote, Republicans will be able to avoid, for now, a messy fight that was already dividing the conference.
The House Rules Committee advanced the plan in a last-minute meeting Wednesday night after huddling with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., who urged rank-and-file Republicans at a closed-door meeting earlier in the day to oppose Boebert’s resolution, arguing that such an important issue should go through the committee process, three GOP sources who heard the comments confirmed.
Republican lawmakers who didn’t think it was appropriate to impeach President Joe Biden will now be able to vote to send Boebert’s resolution to committees for further work instead of having to cast a vote to table, or kill, the resolution — which would have made some GOP lawmakers politically vulnerable in the 2024 primaries.
The House voted 219-208 to refer the impeachment articles to the Judiciary & Homeland Security Committees.
According to DC Draino, this is a “stalling technique.”
