One need only look at the number and the timing of the various indictments against President Trump to realize that this is a coordinated effort to jail the political opposition.
As far as classified documents are concerned, the laws surrounding them are labyrinthine and completely convoluted—just like virtually everything else in the U.S. legal code.
Many, if not all, Presidents take documents home. Joe Biden took them when he was Vice President and had no authority to do so. …He then kept the classified documents in completely unsecured locations.
The mainstream media, the political establishment, and leftists are touting alleged recordings of President Trump where he allegedly ‘confesses’ to illegally holding classified documents.
Below is a video transcript of the alleged tapes originally obtained by CNN:
#CNN obtained a transcript of #Trump saying on tape in 2021 that he didn't declassify "secret information," so rebutting his claims made about his ability to declassify documents. The news comes as he was indicted on 7 counts in the special counsel's classified documents probe. pic.twitter.com/tbP5ZRwCci

The 45th President of the United States responded to the allegations and the controversial tapes by stating that he was referring to newspaper clippings and various media regarding Iran. …
He then went on to claim that there were no classified documents, as no documents exist on the matter—there were proposed plans by Mark Milley but no actual ‘classified’ docs.
President Trump continues to maintain his innocence, stating that he “had every right to have these documents.”

According to The Epoch Times:
“There was no document,” Trump insisted during Monday’s Fox News interview.
“That was a massive amount of papers and everything else talking about Iran and other things,” he continued.
“And it may have been held up or may not, but that was not a document. I didn’t have a document, per se. There was nothing to declassify.
These were newspaper stories, magazine stories, and articles.”
Daniel F. Baranowski pointed out:
“The media is hyping the alleged “audio tape” of Trump saying he knew he had “classified documents” he could no longer declassify. These are the apocryphal Iranian war plans! This crap, along with pictures of boxes at Mar-A-Lago, are highly prejudicial.”

NBC News reports that a judge has placed restrictions on President Trump regarding the ongoing case:
The order prohibits Trump and Walt Nauta, his co-defendant in the criminal case alleging he mishandled national security information, from sharing evidence federal investigators are scheduled to begin turning over to their lawyers as part of the discovery process.
“The Discovery Materials, along with any information derived therefrom, shall not be disclosed to the public or the news media, or disseminated on any news or social media platform, without prior notice to and consent of the United States or approval of the Court,” Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart said in the order.
