According to sources familiar with the matter, former Biden business associate Devon Archer is ‘in talks’ to cooperate with investigators and authorities.

On Monday, June 12, 2023, Rep. James Comer of the House Oversight Committee issued a subpoena to Archer to compel his testimony on Friday, June 16, 2023.

Archer is reportedly negotiating for a later deposition date and will not be testifying on Friday.

Breitbart featured background information about Archer and his relationship with Hunter Biden:

Archer, a Biden family business associate and Hunter’s “best friend in business,” was in legal trouble in 2022 for defrauding a Native American tribal entity and was ordered to pay a $43,954,416.75 judgment to the victims.

Prior to his arrest, Archer served in 2014 with Hunter Biden on the board of Burisma, a Ukraine-based energy company.

Archer was also photographed playing golf with then-Vice President Joe Biden in Southhampton, New York, in 2014. In 2016, Archer resigned from Burisma’s board after his arrest.

Senator Ron Johnson claimed:

President Trump disagreed with the idea that Archer would cooperate with the Department of Justice and the federal authorities.

In a Truth Social message, the 45th President of the United States had this to say:

“Why would Devon Archer “flip” on Joe and Hunter Biden when the DOJ & FBI don’t want him to flip. They are exerting no pressure on him, only on Republicans. He will flip in 2024, when I am President. There must be real accountability for crimes the likes of which our Country has never seen before!”

The New York Post confirmed:

Former Hunter Biden business partner Devon Archer is in talks with the House Oversight Committee to testify about his knowledge of the first family’s business dealings in countries including Russia and Ukraine.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) on Monday issued a subpoena for Archer to appear Friday for a deposition, but he will instead be allowed to negotiate a later appearance.
