PBS Places Warning Label On Trump’s Most Recent Speech

PBS is receiving backlash after executives decided to place a warning label on Trump’s recent speech in Bedminster, New Jersey.

In Trump’s first speech since being indicted in a Miami Federal court PBS placed a label that read “EXPERTS WARN THAT INFLAMMATORY RHETORIC FROM ELECTED OFFICIALS OR PEOPLE IN POWER CAN PROMPT INDIVIDUAL ACTORS TO COMMIT ACTS OF VIOLENCE.”

Take a look:

Labels are used for things that are dangerous such as cancer causing products or products that contain poison, so essentially PBS is declaring Trump is deadly.

Check out what Mediaite reported:

PBS executives were so concerned about airing former President Donald Trump’s post-indictment speech that they slapped a warning label on the screen for viewers to read.

Unlike CNN and MSNBC, PBS opted to broadcast Trump’s address from his Bedminster golf course, filled with falsities, partisan accusations, and threats to eventually persecute his political opponents if elected for a second term. Normal stuff, for Trump, oddly. But it was newsworthy as what he said is admissible in a court of law.

But in a concerning next step in the infantilization of television viewers, PBS dropped a stunning warning label that read: “EXPERTS WARN THAT INFLAMMATORY RHETORIC FROM ELECTED OFFICIALS OR PEOPLE IN POWER CAN PROMPT INDIVIDUAL ACTORS TO COMMIT ACTS OF VIOLENCE.”

MSNBC refused to even air Trump’s speech:

Here’s what Fox News reported:

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow was pilloried by conservatives after declaring the network couldn’t “knowingly broadcast untrue things” as its reasoning behind not taking former President Donald Trump’s post-indictment speech live.

The highly paid anchor and Russiagate enthusiast usually only appears Monday nights but joined MSNBC’s special coverage on Tuesday of the historic federal charges against Trump, where she explained why the left-wing network would not air Trump in real time as he addressed supporters in Bedminister, New Jersey.

“As we have said before in these circumstances, there is a cost to us as a news organization to knowingly broadcast untrue things,” she said. “We are here to bring you the news. It hurts our ability to do that if we live broadcast what we fully expect in advance to be a litany of lies and false accusations, no matter who says them. And I do not say this with any glee.”

“Rachel Maddow will determine which lies are fit for the public to hear. That will work out well,” writer Jason Whitlock tweeted in response.
