Only one Republican presidential candidate has taken it upon themselves to show support for Trump as he is set to be arraigned in a Miami Courthouse Tuesday afternoon.
That one GOP presidential candidate is Vivek Ramaswamy.
Vivek in front of a crowd of Trump supporters held a press conference and revealed he reached out to other GOP presidential candidates and asked them if they would pardon Trump if they were elected.
However, Vivek reported not one candidate responded to his request and yes that includes Ron DeSantis.
Listen to Vivek’s message here:
I challenge every US Presidential candidate to join me in standing for TRUTH. Commit to pardon Donald Trump for these federal charges on Day 1, or explain why you won’t. No one should hide. Not Biden. Not DeSantis. Not Haley. Not Pence. Not RFK. Not Scott. Not anyone. Principles… pic.twitter.com/qYP3fUrE5R

Here’s what the New York Times reported:
Vivek Ramaswamy, an entrepreneur and activist who is running against Donald J. Trump for the Republican nomination, told reporters outside the courthouse in Miami on Tuesday that he had reached out to other presidential candidates to urge them to commit to pardoning the former president if they win in 2024.
ADVERTISEMENTMr. Ramaswamy, who has been among Mr. Trump’s most vocal supporters since the indictment, said he had floated the idea of such a pledge to Mr. Trump’s main Republican rivals, including Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida, as well as Democrats challenging President Biden, like Robert Kennedy Jr.
Speaking outside the federal court building where Mr. Trump was scheduled to appear hours later, Mr. Ramaswamy was often drowned out by competing chants between Trump supporters and demonstrators who had come to celebrate the indictment.
Mr. Ramaswamy said that even though he could benefit politically from the case, he believed the prospect of the Republican front-runner facing an extended prosecution and possibly jail time was dangerous for democracy.
In a separate message released yesterday Vivek released the following statement:
🚨 JUST IN: Vivek Ramaswamy files FOIA request “demanding that the Biden White House & the DOJ reveal any direct or indirect, even verbal communications around this indictment” and to seek out what Biden & Garland told Smith.pic.twitter.com/zS5gCrdLBo

Here’s what The Daily Mail reported:
Republican presidential long-shot Vivek Ramaswamy wants the U.S. government to release all exchanges between the White House and the DOJ on its classified documents case against Donald Trump.
Ramaswamy filed what is known as a Freedom of Information Act, or FOIA, request on Monday (June 12) demanding that officials hand over those files.
The 37-year-old entrepreneur said, via a lawyer, that the ex-commander-in-chief’s indictment ‘raises grave concerns that DOJ is being politicized and weaponized against the political opponents of the sitting President of the United States.’
