Kash Patel Exposes Special Counsel Prosecutor Leading Trump Indictment

One of Trump’s biggest loyalists Kash Patel went on Fox News to break down Trump’s indictment.

Kash Patel started off the interview by exposing Special Counsel Jack Smith who is leading the indictment against Trump.

Patel stated Jack Smith was the one who spearheaded corruption charges against former Republican governor of Virginia Bob McDonnell.

McDonnell was ultimately convicted of bribery charges but the Supreme Court overturned his conviction.

Patel then proceeded to dial in on Special Counsel Prosecutor Karen Gilbert and stated “The lead prosecutor Karen Gilbert, who is likely to be the trial attorney in the Southern District of Florida, in 2009 was so reprimanded in a narcotics trafficking case that she had to retire from her position.”

He continued that after being reprimanded and forced to retire Gilbert later received a promotion at the DOJ.

Check out what Kash had to say below:

Kash also explained why Jack Smith’s Special Counsel office is reportedly leaking information about the case.

Here’s a transcript of the interview:

Fox News Host Brian Kilmeade: Jack Smith, we heard about the investigation, it was public who he was bringing in. Why did he choose to go so public with what he’s doing. Why do we get leaks out of his camp?

Kash Patel:  They are using the same playbook the FBI and DOJ have run, Russia Gate, impeachment 1, impeachment 2, if it favors a story, they leak the information, whether classified or not. What they don’t leak are actions of corruption by the prosecutors bringing this case.

Let me give you an example. The lead prosecutor, Karen
Gilbert, likely to be the trial attorney in the Southern District of Florida, was so reprimanded that she had to retire from her position and years later she was promoted upward at the DOJ and if don’t believe me, go to the case in 2009 in the southern district of Florida and look up Karen Gilbert. She has been pulling the reigns on this investigation.

She wiretapped the defense lawyer’s investigative office to eavesdrop on the conversation between a defense attorney and the investigator and before she got slapped by the courts, she resigned from her position. This person is leading this prosecution.

Just like Patel, Rep. Troy Nehls is also exposing Special Counsel Prosecutor Karen Gilbert.

Check out what Breitbart has to report about Karen Gilbert:

Karen Gilbert, a Justice Department prosecutor who is leading the government’s case against former President Donald Trump related to his handling of allegedly classified documents, has a history of corruption and was once reprimanded by a federal judge for secretly recording a defense lawyer and his investigator.

Gilbert, who is Special Counsel Jack Smith’s deputy and a federal prosecutor, is “one of the most corrupt prosecutors to ever come out of the Southern District of Miami,” according to Kash Patel, a former top Trump administration official and also a former prosecutor.

“The lead prosecutor Karen Gilbert, who is likely to be the trial attorney in the Southern District of Florida, in 2009 was so reprimanded in a narcotics trafficking case that she had to retire from her position,” Patel said in a Fox News interview on Friday.

“Years later, she was promoted upwards at the DOJ,” he said. “She is the Weissmann to Jack Smith and she has been pulling the reins on this investigation,” he said, in reference to Andrew Weissmann, who was the aggressive deputy to former Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
