Josh Hawley on Biden’s Latest Abuse of Power: “We Don’t Have a Republic Anymore”

As should come as no surprise to anyone that Joe Biden’s cowardice has ultimately led him to indicting President Donald Trump.

Trump made the announcement on his Truth Social platform Thursday night.

Joe Biden is terrified of President Trump in 2024.

This sick abuse of power goes far beyond that fear though.

According to Senator Josh Hawley, Biden is “trampling the rule of law.”

Hawley slammed Biden and his DOJ for the federal indictment of Trump, saying “If the people in power can jail their political opponents at will, we don’t have a republic.”

Senator Hawley elaborated on Twitter:

The DC Enquirer has more from Senator Hawley, including his assertion that Biden has trampled the rule of law:

On Thursday, Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) slammed a federal indictment from President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) against 45th President and leading 2024 presidential candidate Donald Trump as “trampling the rule of law.”

“Joe Biden has used his Justice Department to go after parents as ‘domestic terrorists,’ to spy on Catholic parishes, to terrorize & harass prolife Christians – and tonight to indict his top political opponent, Trump. He has trampled the rule of law to benefit himself. He has led the country into profound danger,” Hawley tweeted.

“If the people in power can jail their political opponents at will, we don’t have a republic,” he added.

Earlier on Thursday, President Trump announced in a post on his top-rated social media platform, Truth Social, that the Biden Administration informed him he has been indicted in the documents case and summoned to appear at a Federal Courthouse in Miami, Florida on Tuesday.

Many people agree with Hawley on this one:
