Mike Pence Rides To Iowa Event On Motorcycle

Former Vice President Mike Pence took a ride through Iowa on his Harley to attend  U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst’s  “Roast and Ride” event.

The “Roast and Ride” event is a motorcycle ride and a barbecue rally that kicks off the Iowa caucus campaign season.

Ron DeSantis also attended the event but did not participate in the ride event like Pence.

Here’s a photo of Pence at the event:

Pence later talked it up with the crowd:

The Los Angeles Times had these details to report:

Amid plates of sliced pork, statement-making leather ensembles and piles of political T-shirts, eight Republican presidential hopefuls descended on Iowa to pitch themselves to voters and, in Mike Pence’s case, hop on a motorcycle.

The former vice president and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis were among the White House contenders appearing at a rally at the state fairgrounds near Des Moines hosted by GOP U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst. Her annual political event, the “Roast and Ride” — a combination barbecue rally and motorcycle ride — kicks off a busy summer campaign season heading into the state’s first-in-the-nation caucuses early next year.
