BREAKING: FBI Backs Down To House Oversight Committee

It looks like the only thing that can actually force the FBI to act is a potential contempt charge against its director. …

The House Oversight Committee has been locked in a battle with the FBI over various documents relating to the Biden family and their numerous, ongoing scandals.

WLTR previously reported that the federal agency has confirmed the existence of documents regarding Joe Biden’s influence peddling schemes while serving as VP under Barack Obama.

Previously, Rep. James Comer issued this stark warning to FBI Director Chris Wray.

Just The News reports:

But a deal was struck late Thursday for the FBI to bring the document to the Capitol, officials said.

“Chairman Comer will receive a briefing from the FBI and review the document on Monday,” his committee told Just the News in a statement.

“Chairman Comer has been clear that anything short of producing the FD-1023 form to the House Oversight Committee is not compliance with his subpoena.

This unclassified record contains pages of details that need to be investigated further by the House Oversight Committee.”

Senator Chuck Grassley and others have the FBI ‘cornered’, according to Mike Davis:

Due to the stalling tactics, and the obvious cover for Hunter Biden run by the FBI, Judicial Watch recently filed a lawsuit, in an effort, to get the Hunter Biden gun records.

According to Trending Politics, Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy also issued a warning to Wray and the FBI:

“[Congressman] Comer (R-KY) subpoenaed the document that we’ve requested.

We have jurisdiction over the FBI, which they seem to act like we do not.

I personally called Director Wray and told him he needs to send that document.

Today is the deadline. So let me not just tell you, let me tell Director Christopher Wray right here, right now: if he misses the deadline today, I am prepared to move contempt charges in Congress against him,” said McCarthy.
