Per The Independent:
Joe Biden on Monday scoffed at the idea of granting his predecessor, former president Donald Trump, a pardon absolving him of any crimes he may have committed during or after his presidency.
Mr Biden was asked if he’d consider a reprieve for Mr Trump as he departed the White House en route to his Delaware home on Monday, the day before the eighth anniversary of his late son Beau Biden’s death.
ADVERTISEMENTAsked whether he’d heard that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has said he’d pardon the disgraced ex-president — and if he’d consider doing so himself, the president flashed a smile and chuckled as he turned towards the South Lawn and his flight aboard Marine One.

Here’s what Mediaite reported:
Joe Biden appeared greatly amused by Fox News White House Correspondent Peter Doocy asking about the possibility of a pardon for Donald Trump.
Trump is currently under federal investigation by Special Counsel Jack Smith, who is probing the president’s improper retention of government documents after he left office. Smith is also investigating the former president’s efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election in a desperate attempt to stay in office.
BREAKING: As Biden boarded Marine One this Memorial Day, Fox News’ Peter Doocy just asked the President, “Did you see that Ron DeSantis said that if he became president, he would pardon Trump? Where are you on the idea of the president pardoning Trump?”
