Trump Responds To AG Paxton Getting Impeached

President Trump is not happy Attorney General of Texas Ken Paxton has been impeached.

The Texas House of Representatives officially voted to impeach Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton over recent bribery charges on Sunday.

General Paxton who Trump has praised on several occasions due to the AG standing up against major opioid manufacturers.

Back in 2020 Paxton led a billion dollar lawsuit against an opioid manufacturer.

Trump in a  new message on Truth Social has stated “MISSING IN ACTION! Where is the Governor of Texas on his Attorney General’s Impeachment?”

In a separate post on Truth Social Trump stated:

The RINO Speaker of the House of Texas, Dade Phelan, who is barely a Republican at all and failed the test on voter integrity, wants to impeach one of the most hard working and effective Attorney Generals in the United States, Ken Paxton, who just won re-election with a large number of American Patriots strongly voting for him.

You would think that any issue would have been fully adjudicated by the voters of Texas, especially when that vote was so conclusive.

Paxton never blundered when it came to standing up for election fraud:

Politico got the scoop too:

President Donald Trump on Saturday gave his full backing to Ken Paxton as the Texas attorney general faced historic impeachment proceedings led by state Republicans.

Trump took to Truth Social to praise the embattled attorney general and condemn both “Radical Left Democrats” and “RINOS” alike.

“I love Texas, won it twice in landslides, and watched as many other friends, including Ken Paxton, came along with me,” Trump wrote. “Hopefully Republicans in the Texas House will agree that this is a very unfair process that should not be allowed to happen or proceed—I will fight you if it does.”

The Texas House later voted to impeach Paxton, triggering his suspension from office.
