Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida faced some major technical difficulties as he attempted to announce his presidential announcement on a Twitter Space hosted by Elon Musk
DeSantis’s announcement on Twitter started late by 25 minutes due to technical difficulties.
During the first several minutes Elon Musk attempted to troubleshoot in real-time but the technical difficulties led many people to leave the Space.
Here’s what the Space looked like when it crashed:
It was arguably one of the worst announcements in US history.

Eventually the connection was restored and DeSantis was able to announce his presidency and answered questions from users on Twitter.
