Tucker Carlson recently posted to Twitter for the first time in weeks, the tweet only featured an emoji and this brief video from Carlson’s biographer, Chadwick Moore:

The video confirms some of what we already knew—namely that the ousting of Tucker Carlson allegedly had to do with the Dominion settlement paid by Fox News. …

However, what wasn’t widely known at the time was that Carlson was set to air a segment on Ray Epps right before he was fired. …

Since leaving Fox, Carlson has announced he will be starting a new show exclusively on Twitter, a development Elon Musk has praised and leveraged to encourage other media celebrities to join Carlson in moving to his free-speech platform.

Put simply: Dominion needed Carlson gone because he was solely interfering with the 2020 election narrative. Or, in other words, powerful people in high places wanted to shut Carlson up.

However, according to a Rasmussen poll, and probably according to most watchers of the Tucker Carlson nightly show, this move has, and will continue to backfire massively for the network; because the poll showed that Carlson is more popular than Fox News itself.
