WATCH: Kari Lake’s Attorney Makes Closing Arguments

I am not sure I have ever heard a more damning indictment of how Maricopa County conducts elections than this closing statement made by Kari Lake’s attorney:

Previously, we reported that former FBI agent, and signature analysis expert, Wayne A. Barnes called Maricopa’s signature verification process “almost illegal”.

According to Lake, “Maricopa County ‘verified’ roughly 70,000 signatures in two seconds and approved 264,000 ballots in less than three seconds.”

Western Journal highlights the closing statement made by Kari Lake’s legal team:

The November race between Republican Kari Lake and Democratic Gov Katie Hobbs “was decided by 17,117 votes.

That, however, is out of 2.59 million votes, a difference between the two candidates of 0.67 percent,” he said.

“The number of ballots at issue whether the court were to set aside for illegality, the 70,000, the 274,000 in a proportional manner … this election should be set aside,” Olsen added.

Moreover, the signature verification process Maricopa County purportedly uses is highly subjective, claimed Lake and her legal team:

Despite this shocking evidence and numerous other ‘irregularities’ that occurred during Arizona’s 2022 midterm elections, left-wing outlets like MSNBC continue to claim Lake is wasting time:

Lake lost to her Democratic opponent, Katie Hobbs, by over 17,000 votes in 2022, but she accused Arizona election officials of fraud just one day later, before the official count had even been completed.

Then came Lake’s sprawling, 10-point lawsuit, with legal briefs filled with fire-and-brimstone outrage and allegations of political persecution, but light on actual facts. Arizona Superior Court Judge Peter Thompson found Lake’s claims to be nonsense.

The Arizona Supreme Court agreed, saying Lake’s arguments lacked any legal merit.
