Biden Restores Trump’s Border Policy Despite Previously Calling it “Inhumane”

Joe Biden has never come up with an original policy for anything in his life.

He has spent plenty of time criticizing the policies of others, but when push comes to shove, Biden has plagiarized or stolen those very same policies for himself.

Back in 2020, Biden and his cronies were quick to criticize the border policies of President Donald Trump, often calling them “inhumane.”

One of those policies was set to expire on Wednesday.

Title 42, first introduced during the COVID pandemic, prohibited migrants from applying for asylum in the United States before first applying in any countries they traveled through.

Just before that policy was set to expire, Biden revived it at the last moment, once again proving that he is a complete hypocrite.

The Daily Wire has the story:

The Biden administration has brought back a Trump-era immigration rule the day before Title 42 is scheduled to sunset and encourage a wave of illegal immigration into the U.S.

The rule, finalized and published in the Federal Register on Wednesday, disqualifies migrants from applying for asylum in the U.S. if they neglected to first apply for asylum in other countries they traveled through, such as Mexico. Hundreds of asylum officers were trained in how to enforce the rule on Tuesday ahead of Title 42’s expiration, according to CBS News.

The new rule, a reversal of President Joe Biden’s campaign promises, comes as the administration has failed for more than two years to control historic levels of illegal immigration into the U.S. The ongoing crisis at the southern border is widely expected to worsen later this week when Title 42, a health order authorizing border officials to immediately expel migrants without processing, is repealed at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday.

Trending Politics News has more on the revived policy:

According to internal documents obtained by CBS News, the Biden administration has finalized a sweeping restriction on asylum that it plans to use to increase swift deportations of migrants who cross the U.S.-Mexico border after the Title 42 pandemic-era emergency policy expires on Thursday.

The regulation was published on Wednesday, less than 48 hours before Title 42’s expiration, and hundreds of U.S. asylum officers were trained on how to enforce it on Tuesday. CBS News first reported on the regulation’s finalization on Tuesday, along with the guidance given to asylum officers who will be implementing it.

The regulation, which is anticipated to be contested in federal court, represents the administration reverting back to a Trump-era border policy. It disqualifies migrants from U.S. protection if they do not request refugee status in another country, such as Mexico, while traveling to the southern border.

Biden sure wasn’t a fan of President Trump’s border policies back in 2020.

Gee, I wonder what changed since this debate (Timestamp at 1:02:40)..:

I thought that policy was inhumane though?..

What changed?

Perhaps Biden felt the pressure from republicans such as Ted Cruz:
