Donald Trump Jr. tweeted Wednesday that his contacts from Fox News said executives from the cable news network are furious at him for defending Tucker Carlson.
Trump Jr.’s friends shared a clear message to him.
“Expect retaliation.”
“Have heard from a few of my friends at Fox News that the leftist executives running things there are pissed at me for calling them out over firing Tucker and to ‘expect retaliation,'” Donald Trump Jr. wrote.
“A lot of good people still work at Fox, but their RINO leadership is at war with conservatives!”

Fox Corporation’s board, which includes Paul Ryan and multiple Murdoch family members, reportedly played a hand in Tucker Carlson’s removal from Fox News.

Breitbart reported:
One day before the Dominion trial was set to begin and before Carlson’s ouster, Fox’s board of directors reviewed previously disclosed text messages sent by Carlson to his producer that caused the board to hatch a plan to hire a law firm to investigate Carlson, two sources told New York Times.
“It remains unclear how the text escaped more notice earlier, given that the Fox legal team was aware of it and other offensive texts written by Mr. Carlson,” the Times reported. “Mr. Carlson had even been asked about it during a deposition, according to several people who have read the unredacted transcripts of his deposition.”
The board was likely to face scrutiny about how it handled the Dominion case during additional legal action in Delaware, which could encompass Carlson’s texts. Former speaker of the House Paul Ryan, Fox Corporation Chair Rupert Murdoch, and Murdoch’s son, Lachlan Murdoch, are prominent members of Fox’s board.
“How Fox’s executives and board handled the case in the months before the trial was scheduled to begin is expected to be at issue in shareholder lawsuits filed against the company in Delaware,” the Times reported. “Though Mr. Carlson’s show, ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight,’ was only a small factor in the Dominion suit, his personal texts were drawing outsize scrutiny.”
Shortly after the Dominion lawsuit was settled, Carlson was ousted. A Fox News source told Breitbart News an important meeting involving the Murdochs and potentially Paul Ryan occurred at Fox after the settlement that led to Carlson’s ouster.
Donald Trump Jr. commented Monday on the “Steak for Breakfast” podcast that Fox News’ censorship has expanded beyond Tucker Carlson.
The Western Journal explained:
And, during his appearance on a podcast published Monday, Trump Jr. said the Fox News’ policies had led not only to the dismissal of Tucker Carlson and contributor Dan Bongino, but also his own absence from the network.
“I’ve been watching the censorship happening, even in conservative mainstream media,” Trump Jr. said on the show “Steak for Breakfast”, according to The Daily Beast. (The podcast can be heard here. Trump Jr.’s quoted comments start about the 4:50 mark.)
ADVERTISEMENT“You saw what Fox did to Tucker Carlson last week, and the week before that, it was Dan Bongino, and, you know, the people who would actually question some of that narrative like: Is it a brilliant plan to send $130 billion to Ukraine, one of the most corrupt nations in the world?”
He added that, “I used to be on Fox three, four, five, six, 10 times a week. I haven’t been on in nine months. Not a call, not an invite, not anything.”
“So I understand what it appears like they’re trying to do to the America First movement. You know, Tucker was another one of those voices.”
