President Trump will likely be back on Twitter very soon.
According to SEC filings, the 45th President of the United States has an exclusivity deal with Truth Social; however, that exclusivity deal is reportedly set to expire in June of 2023.
Additionally, President Trump’s campaign team has reportedly been at work planning what a first tweet could potentially look like.
BBC News also claimed that legal experts believe that President Trump has multiple legal options to end the contractual obligations to Truth Social, outside of the stipulated expiration date.

🚨 #BREAKING: Reports say President Trump will be returning to Twitter in early June.
Trump is current subject to a “social media exclusivity” clause that forces him to post on Truth Social before any rival platforms, according to an SEC filing.

BBC News reported in November of 2022 that President Trump has several legal outs to his exclusivity deal and contract with Truth Social:
Not only that, but Mr Trump is only bound by the agreement to post exclusively on Truth Social until July 2023, says Ohlrogge.
“My reading is after that point [legally] he’d be able post directly on Twitter, without posting first on Truth Social,” he says.
There is another reason to think Donald Trump might come back onto Twitter. The merger itself is currently under Federal investigation.
The deal could still fall through, at which point Donald Trump’s legal commitment to post exclusively on Truth Social would also be ripped up.
Mr Trump might lose money, but it would open the door still wider for a Twitter return.
Talking about fact checks, Trump didn’t say he’d never return to Twitter. When asked if he’d return he said he had “no interest in returning for now.”

Earlier this year, NBC News reported:
“Trump is probably coming back to Twitter. It’s just a question of how and when,” said a Republican who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss private conversations with Trump about returning to the platform.
“He’s been talking about it for weeks, but Trump speaks for Trump, so it’s anyone’s guess what he’ll do or say or when.”
ADVERTISEMENTAnother Trump confidant who also didn’t want to be identified speaking about conversations with him said that Trump has sought input for weeks about hopping back on Twitter and that his campaign advisers have also workshopped ideas for his first tweet.
