Arnold Schwarzenegger Apologizes For “Screw Your Freedom” Comment, What Do You Think?

Actor, bodybuilder, and former governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger apologized for his “screw your freedom” comments he made during the height of COVID tyranny.

The 75-year-old made the remarks during a CNN discussion in August 2021.

“There is a virus here. It kills people, and the only way we prevent it is: get vaccinated, wear masks, do social distancing, washing your hands all the time, and not just to think about, ‘Well, my freedom is being kind of disturbed here.’ No, screw your freedom,” Schwarzenegger said.

“Because with freedom comes applications and responsibilities. We cannot just say ‘I have the right to do X, Y, and Z.’ When you effect other people, that is when it gets serious,” he added.

Watch from 2021:

Schwarzenegger has a different tone in 2023.

“I’m sorry for saying those words,” he said.

One Twitter user was reluctant to check out Schwarzenegger’s new podcast because of the “screw your freedom” comments.

“I want to check this out, but have a hard time getting over Arnold ‘F**k Your Freedom’ Schwarzenegger,” the Twitter user said to another who promoted the podcast.

Schwarzenegger chimed in and offered these remarks:

“I want to thank you for your open-mindedness. I think we should be able to disagree without being enemies. Here’s what else I’ll say: I’m sorry for saying those words. I try to be relentlessly positive, but sometimes my mouth gets ahead of me. I should have communicated better.”

If you ask me, Arnold can take his ‘apology’ and shove it!

We will never forget the authoritarians who bullied, ostracized, segregated, discriminated, and arrested the men and women who stood up for their inalienable rights.

They want us to move on like nothing ever happened the past three years.

Lives were ruined!

Careers were stolen!

Families were torn apart!

Relationships ended!

The ones who perpetuated crimes against humanity must face justice.

No amnesty!
