We all know that the current Manhattan grand jury case is a complete scam—even leftist outlets agree with us!
Literally, everyone except for the most rabid leftist has thrown their support behind President Trump and denounced the charges as baseless, and politically motivated. …
This case has no merit, but it’s nice to hear this from a person who should have the ultimate authority to prosecute a campaign finance case—the FEC Commissioner, James E. Trainor.
According to Trainor, no crime occurred! President Trump committed no campaign violations. …
This is one more nail in the coffin for this highly politically motivated case against the 45th President of the United States—my only question now is this: when is Bragg going to be arrested for prosecutorial misconduct?
Here’s what Trainor had to say:

BREAKING: FEC Commissioner James E. Trainor, on Trump v. Daniels:
" . . . the paperwork violation took place AFTER 2016 which means it could not have been done to help with the 2016 election and it isn’t obvious the payments were meant to influence the election. (emphasis mine)…

Washington Examiner provided this statement from the FEC Commissioner:
“It’s not a campaign finance violation. It’s not a reporting violation of any kind,”
“I don’t know how you get around the evidence that both the Department of Justice in their investigation of the federal campaign finance issues and the Federal Election Commission in their ultimate jurisdiction over campaign finance issues, neither of them found there to be any violations whatsoever, and I think the jury is going to see that and they’re going to have to rely upon the fact that both the law enforcement experts and the civil enforcement experts, as far as campaign finance are concerned, didn’t find any violation of the law here,” said Trainor.

An indictment/felony charge needs to be reconsidered for Hillary's FEC violation of funding the Steele dossier, and covering up her crime by accounting for the payment as "legal fees." Trump's arrest has set a precedent for these types of misdemeanors being litigated as felonies

The Texas Tribune had this to say about Trainor:
Trainor has most recently been serving as the assistant general counsel for the Texas GOP.
He was installed in that position after James Dickey became the new chairman in June and appointed a fresh slate of party officers.
ADVERTISEMENTIn a statement applauding Trump for nominating Trainor, Dickey called Trainor a “highly accomplished election attorney and a committed Texas Republican.”
