New Attack Ad WEAPONIZES Billy Graham to “Mislead People” -Franklin Graham

The Rev. Billy Graham was an iconic figure.

His death in 2018 was like the loss of a grandparent, for many.

He preached alongside MLK Jr. in 1957…

Spoke to enormous crowds all over the world…

Shared the Christian gospel message with millions, including U.S. presidents…

Personally counseled almost every American president since Truman…

And was often referred to as “America’s Pastor”.

But you don’t get that close to American politics without running into problems.

Not even if you’re quite literally… Billy Graham.

He often said he wasn’t perfect; just forgiven.

(Though, many of us felt like he was pretty darn close.)

But the most recent, and possibly biggest, political drama for Billy Graham…

JUST HAPPENED – TODAY!

And his son, Franklin Graham, is not happy about it at all.

First, a quick breakdown of what happened.

A pro-Kamala group, “Evangelicals for Harris”, dropped a new attack ad.

In the ad, they attacked President Trump.

No surprise there.

But it’s how they did it that has Franklin so mad.

The liberal group in question attacked President Trump…

And used old footage of Billy Graham to do it!

As if Billy Graham (if he were still alive) would have been anti-Trump,

And PRO-KAMALA HARRIS!

Without further ado, here’s the attack ad:

It isn’t hard to see why Franklin is so upset.

He knew his father better than anyone.

He knew his father’s core principles.

Did Billy Graham endorse President Trump?

No –  by 2016 his health had deteriorated, and he didn’t endorse a candidate.

But Franklin knew his father supported the same conservative principles that guided President Trump’s term in office.

And he knew his father would NEVER support the evil and ungodly policies of Kamala Harris & Company!

And that’s exactly what he said in response:

The liberals are using anything and everything they can to promote candidate Harris. They even developed a political ad trying to use my father @BillyGraham’s image. Ofcourse, the liberal group showed zero repentance for their overzealous overstep.

And responded with accusations, instead:

The issue, Franklin, is that in your worship of Trump you have forsaken the Gospel.

So don’t miss this.

They literally used footage of the man’s dead father…

In an attempt to mislead people into believing his father would have supported Kamala Harris…

And when he (justifiably) called them on it…

The accused him of false idol worship,

Abandoning his calling before God,

And even insinuated that he had fallen from grace.

Absolutely despicable.

A bit of background from Newsweek on a few of these groups, including the one responsible for this particular attack ad:

The new group is one of several organizations that have been formed to support Harris’ presidential bid. These include groups like Christians for Kamala, Republicans for Harris, and Haley Voters for Harris – formerly Haley Voters for Biden.

And some interesting info on them from our friends at Fox News:

Evangelicals for Harris, formerly Evangelicals for Biden, is a project of Faith Voters, a 501(c)4 organization.

On Wednesday, the group held a Zoom conference hosted by “reparations activist” Ekemini Uwan, who has argued that “Whiteness is wicked” and the police as an institution “needs to be destroyed and rebuilt. Policing was founded on the re-enslavement of Black people.”

A new attack ad from the pro-Harris organization against Trump juxtaposes footage of the late Billy Graham talking about confessing one’s sins with an old interview of Trump saying he wasn’t sure at the time whether he had ever asked God for forgiveness.

On one hand, nothing should surprise us anymore about how low the progressive ideology can stoop.

On the other hand, we should not stop pushing back.

The normalization of low standards should not be tolerated.

Using footage of a dead man to knowingly manipulate and mislead people is wrong.

It will always be wrong.

And hopefully, there will always be a group of people willing to push back.

For now, good on Franklin Graham for not letting this go.

Good on the American voters who are smart enough to see through a crafty attempt to manipulate them.

As for the pro-Kamala groups consistently using these kinds of tactics-

May God have mercy on them.

Because come November…

There are going to be a lot of us showing NO MERCY…

When it’s time to head to the ballot box.
