Trump Forced To Spend Melania’s Birthday In Court Room

President Trump sent a birthday wish to his wife, Melania, right before he entered the New York City courthouse where he’s on trial for ‘hush money’ payments.

Trump, before entering the courthouse, told the press “I want to start by wishing my wife, Melania, a very happy birthday.”

The 45th president continued “It would be nice to be with her.”

“But I’m in a courthouse for a rigged trial. It’s a rigged trial — terrible.” added Trump.

Former President Trump is sending a long-distance birthday message to his wife, Melania, straight from the New York City courthouse where he’s on trial in his hush money case.

“I want to start by wishing my wife, Melania, a very happy birthday,” Trump said in brief remarks to the press Friday outside the lower Manhattan courthouse.

The former first lady turned 54 on Friday.

“It would be nice to be with her,” Trump said before entering court for the fourth day of proceedings, the first criminal trial of a current or former American president.
“But I’m in a courthouse for a rigged trial. It’s a rigged trial — terrible,” Trump, who’s repeatedly made unsubstantiated claims that the judge in the case is corrupt, told reporters.

The 45th commander in chief faces 34 felony counts of falsifying business records related to reimbursements for his former fixer, Michael Cohen, in order to pay porn actor Stormy Daniels $130,000 just ahead of the 2016 presidential election to stay quiet about an alleged sexual encounter years earlier with Trump. The ex-president has denied all charges.

“I do have to begin by wishing Melania a happy birthday,” Trump repeated Friday. The pair married in 2005.

In front of television cameras and a gaggle of journalists, former President Donald Trump wished his wife, Melania Trump, a very happy birthday Friday morning, moments before he entered the courtroom for his criminal hush-money trial.

“I want to start by wishing my wife Melania a very happy birthday,” he told reporters in the downtown Manhattan courthouse hallway. “It’d be nice to be with her, but I’m at a courthouse for a rigged trial.”

Trump is spending the day in Manhattan’s criminal court, where he’s on trial for charges alleging that he falsified business documents to disguise a hush-money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels.
